I loved going to the park when I was young ...

One of my favourite things to do when I was young was to go to the park. We were lucky in that we had a huge one close to where we lived and it was only a short ( ish ) walk to get there. Lots of grassy hills which I remember rolling down …..and trying to run up again afterwards. two slides ...one for the little children and one for those who were bigger ….or dare devils ! swings ...proper ones and those with bars across so that you could not fall out … I used to love to swing my legs so much that I was practically flying ! Roundabouts too ….and those thing that you sit on and the shake about ….okay for those scaredy cats..... They were fun days ...we did not have to worry about health and safety ! We just had fun ….and fresh air ...and exercise x aaahhh good times.
