I loved my roller skates

As a child I loved my roller skates ….they were blue and I had them for either Christmas or my Birthday ….only a few weeks between the two !
I was lucky enough to live in a quiet cul de sac so there was not much traffic ( we are also going back a few years when not every household had about 6 cars !). Also we had a big garden with plenty of flagstones ! so I had a great time racing about on my skates....
I had no fear back then ...although I do not remember falling over very often x
Wonder if I still have them somewhere ...maybe look in the garage !

I used to love roller skating as a kid too! We lived in a cul de sac too (I miss that!). Somewhere down the line I forgot about skating . . . but in my mid 20s I discovered ice skating and got into it! I got to live my dreams of performing and competing . . . and it all started with rollerskating way back when.

I never learnt to roller-skate but it must have been a lot of fun.

I love roller skate.We had the older one that lock on your shoes.Then year gone by got the shoe skate.
then to the roller derby at home.
