Walking as a Very Precious Activity

Every morning I try to walk even a few minutes; or if not, I will walk a lot inside the house during the day. I find walking a necessity and it becomes a very precious activity for those who are afflicted with debilitating disease or of very old age.
I wish young people or those who are very capable of walking do it because someday they would regret they could not longer walk.
When we were young, we walk to and from the school; so we get a lot of exercise. These days, parents tend to accompany their children to school aboard a car, a jeepney (jitney) or school bus. It deprives the children of the needed exercise.
Do you always walk?

I love walking, hating the bad weather at present as itisn't nice walking when it is this cold and wet out

It is really uncomfortable to walk in the cold and wet situation. I hope you can do it indoors too!

when i'm capable, i put a lot 'f miles'n my boots. i agree, these young'uns these days 've a great disadvantage. they need not jest the 'xercise, but the fresh air, too.

@acelawrites i've found that most 'f the younger generations 'round here (u.s.) find such most borin'. not takin' the moments to 'ppreciate 'r e'en be 'ware 'f their surroundin's. i feel fer 'em later'n life.

We used to walk 4 times a week on early mornings at the ovals but it's been almost 2 months now that we have not done so because of the December activities and the cold mornings and rain in January. I hope we can resume our walk next week. Enjoy your walk!

I love walking too. I prefer walking outside and I do when the weather is warm enough. I struggle with allergies a lot too, so that can be a problem.
We have a Mall that's close to me. I walk there if the weather isn't nice.
