A review of the first month of the year; January

It was a month which incurred many expenses and we are already running out of money. Since we shifted our house, it created many extra expenses which were unavoidable too. Shifting a house and setting it as a new is indeed a costly affair. We settled 95% at present. We need to buy many more things. The good side of changing a house, we have thrown away many unwanted stuffs at home. Some dresses donated, some old items sold off and so on… There are so many disappointing things from many sides. However, all those we faced it bravely. How would like to evaluate the first month of the year from your side. I agree some days are still left.

@Sreekala When you change a house - and that too in a metro city like Delhi - you have to face implications.I have never been to the National Capital, but can imagine.I'm from a small town and we have our own house.I have yet to experience the problems and the stress.

Yes, the shifting charges were also high, then shifting from the second floor of a house, to a 4th floor, bit more complicated and damaged many items. Workers, can't be blamed too since we consider the height.

@Sreekala I understand. It all is so stressful. The very thought of living in a huge metro city makes me shiver.By the way,if I'm right, you were perhaps in Kerala, weren't you?

I had that party for seniors from an old age home and kids from the Institute That was the main activity in January. Gardening keeps me on my toes, few guests, few visitors all that is part of living. Moneywise I suppose seniors like me would have provided for the rainy day (lol)

Moving is costly but it can also be a huge blessing! =) Every day is amazing and can be a blessing if we choose to be a blessing for someone else no matter what we are going through.

Moving house and setting up a new one can be very expensive indeed. I hope your finances improve soon. January has been good to us. We had a concert on our property and that went off well so that was good.

Usually we hesitate and keep it again and again thinking it will need in future. On changing home and while shifting I myself, take initiative to clear out the unwanted stuffs.
