What did you think of Rent Live musical on FOX?

Rent Live musical premiered yesterday on FOX. I set it to record on my DVR so I can watch it today without interruptions, and so I can also skip through the commercials. I started watching the recording today but noticed it didn't start from the very beginning but I kept on watching anyway. But then it got cut off somewhere else. That's when it hit me to see if it's available on demand. Turned out it was, which was great news for me. I'd be able to see the beginning that was cut off in the recording. Bad news was that the fast forward option was not available when watching it on demand, so I had to watch from the beginning and watch everything I had already seen. On top of that, I was not able to skip through the commercials. The whole show is a three-hour run. So add that to the time I had already spent watching the DVR recording it took me at least four hours to watch the damn thing. If only there were no recording issues or if I'd checked to see if it was on demand right away I'd have saved a lot of time... Turns out that during the dress rehearsal Saturday one of the main actors broke his foot and because of that what aired on TV was the taping of the dress rehearsal instead of it being live. It was only the last fifteen minutes that was live. But at least we got to see the musical thanks to the dress rehearsal having been recorded. The live part was the best in my opinion but I still loved the rest of it and enjoyed it a lot. The cast was amazing! I loved Vanessa Hudgens in her role. She never disappoints.
