Superwoman Oreo Can Fly

Do you know what is really fun living in a house with cats? Sitting quietly writing and thinking and all around it is quite. Suddenly a boom and a bang and something landed on the recliner. Well, as a writer I have a very vivid imagination so my first thought was Peter Pan and Tinkerbelle and that we would all begin to sing “You Can Fly”. Then perhaps with some pixie dust, they could make me fly too, however, most likely I would look like a hippo flying through the skies and scare everyone half to death. It was not Peter Pan, it was not Sid nor was it even Superman. It was Superwoman my kitty niece Oreo who had come in through the bathroom window, taken a flying leap upwards and neatly landed on the top of my recliner. Since it is right next to my PC you can imagine that it gave me quite a start. We had a period of welcome and then as you see in the photo she just curled up with the pigs on the recliner and promptly went to sleep.

She would have startled me as well for sure. Is she your cat as well or from another House? Hugs to Sid.

She lives with my friends in the apartment below me. It is only a two-story house. @lovinangelsinstead21

Maybe you should teach Oreo now to use the main door.

That would not work at all because I would not know that she was there @ilocosboy

I've been used to the peace and quiet here in Japan. Totally different from my hometown. In fact, during my recent vacation,I kept on shushing everyone for being so noisy. I forgot it was totally okay to be. haha

She is trying to establish herself as the lady of the house. Last night Sid came in to eat and she sat on a chair and watched him eat to make sure he was on his best behavior @JohnRoberts

Such a pretty kitty. Mine tend to startle me as well. Usually when I'm asleep and she decides to pounce on me.
