Silly Arguments at Breakfast / myLot

Someone must have taken my canister of instant coffee, so the morning was already off to a rough start. They wake us up here at 5am and breakfast isn't till 7, so many of us have instant and we heat up water in the microwave. Also this morning one of the guys took pictures of the people that were smoking cigarettes by the front door of the shelter (we are supposed to smoke at the picnic tables across the parking lot). Nobody is sure what he plans to do with these pictures, yet several of the men have been yelling and crabbing about it for a few hours now. It's actually amusing, I have seen much worse diversions from the law of the land here, I highly doubt anyone will be discharged for lighting up on the wrong side of the street. So it seems to be a cranky Tuesday, but I am not going to let it ruin my day. How is your morning going?

@starflye78 It is afternoon here. It is a day. Why is breakfast at 7 and not when you want to eat it?

I live in a homeless shelter so mealtimes occur at specific times. Breakfast at 7, lunch at noon, dinner at 5. We are not allowed to keep food in our bunks because there will be bugs if we do. We have morning chores each day also, there are about 60 residents and we are responsible for keeping our living quarters clean. Today was my turn to clean a restroom. I like it here though, the rigid schedule helps with my bipolar and anxiety because it keeps me busy.
