China now censors male earrings on tv.

Watching television on China may look weird because male celebrities with earrings will now be censored on tv. The censorship will remind you of how Japan censors genitals on porn. They do not forbid male celebrities to have earings but it will be censored on tv. They think it is effeminate and will be a threat to traditional male masculinity. For a country with no religion and have an Atheist communist government, China is too conservative. I remember years ago, they banned women from eating bananas the sexy way.

I just don't get these comunist governments always getting all they want banned. Same thing happens in my country, violence on soap operas being banned while the streets are the most dangerous places ever!

@jvicentevalera I am Peruvian so I get to watch other Hispanic shows. So now most shows in Venezuela now are romance stuff since the violence had been removed.

@CaptAlbertWhisker What? OMG I never thought that foreigner would bring that up! You really took me by surprise with your comment lol. La Mujer de Judas soap opera was huge back in 2002. And yes that type of shows have been banned due to the blood that is shown in the series, which is dumb cause it is not like they're killing off people in the show all the time.

For some it is a form of expression, of fashion statement which China represses with the ban.

@snowy22315 Maybe they should just ban it instead of making people get annoyed with blurred ears on tv

China is still a repressive country, but nothing compared to Emirates and other countries in that area.

Yeah women have no complete rights on those areas, they are just there to make babies.
