Laundry Day

I decided to wash my clothes today, even though my laundry day here at the shelter is actually Saturday. I like having my weekends free since we are allowed back into our beds on the weekend. During the week we must be up at 5am and cannot go back into the sleeping quarters till after dinner. I am trying to stay awake, they are in the dryer now. I would normally just leave it till morning but someone is waiting to put their wash into the dryer, and she is new here and I try to be especially nice to the new people. Living in a homeless shelter is a tough experience. Two of the dryers are broken, but I am grateful to be able to do my laundry for free so I will just sit and write until I am able to get them out. I think I will clear out a box so I don't have to fold them till morning.
