Taking a little time off of mylot

United States
February 1, 2019 11:08am CST
I know it's not necessary for me to make a discussion about this. I also figure that only a few would realize I've gone missing. I intend to take a few days away from mylot. It might be more, it might be less. I am going to concentrate on other things that need to be done. I am going to read more, I am going to write more. I may even write up a few discussions but I won't start posting them until I come back. I will respond to the notifications I have now and then be off again. I am in the mood to rearrange. I need to take advantage of that while I can, I don't often find inspiration to rearrange / clean out my bedroom.

I should do the same . Good luck with the stuff you need to get done. I hate to say it, but the days are more productive when we don't hang out on myLot . . . if I am here, time goes by way too quick. Like now . See you when you come back!

@ScribbledAdNauseum I don't think I even lasted 2 hours . Today is supposed to be my productive day but as you can see, here I am again. Well, I hope to stop now . . . I'm going to make some tea and then come back . . . argh, I can't stop myself .

@much2say Today? Today I have come back every few hours. I feel like I just woke up and it's already 4 PM! I woke up at 8. This day has gone by so fast, and I haven't accomplished very much.

See? It only ended up being most of two days. I popped in here a time or two yesterday and the same today. I'll probably mylot a little more tomorrow. I do need to get some more stuff done, mylot is bad for productivity but good for a coffee and a chat!

I like that you wrote a discussion about leaving for a bit, and wish more people would do it. But, that's each persons choice - of course. I would've noticed though, as your one of the people I have bookmarked to my phones web, and visit (almost) daily. I hope you have a great few days, and get all that you want done - done.

I always worry when people I talk to alot decide to go *poof*. I'm back for now, but I was slightly productive. I need to deal with some more things but I wanted to get to my notiications before they got backlogged and I ended up saying "fuh-get- about it".

It was a quick one. I couldn't stay away from mylot completely. I popped in for a few minutes yesterday and earlier today. I still have lots I need to get done - both online and offline - but I enjoy my time here too much. Plus part of the reason I was gone was sort of an emotional thing that *popped* and I'm feeling better now. Hard to explain other then to say it like that.

I was emotionally drained and had to just get away from online for a bit. I've also stepped away from social media for the most part as well. I am back - without having accomplished much organizing wise.

@garymarsh6 I definitely agree. I also had refrained from listening to instrumental and calming music when I first wake up. I've started doing that again and it makes all the difference. Routine is often a good thing.

It didn't last long and I didn't get much done. I need to do more but somethings I am just not sure what to do with. I'm back for a little while - I couldn't stay away from mylot for long.

*drum roll please* Yeah, I'm back. I didn't get much done but I hope to get more done. I was also in this emotionally drained state and I had to sort of recharge from that. I feel better now and feel as if I can be more productive online and off.. which is good.

@Happy2BeMe That is so kind of you to say! Yes, I am glad that the cloud over my head is now gone. I was also able to help someone in the process so I am glad of that.

I have done a little bit, but there are some things I just don't know where to put or what to do with at the moment. I have gone months without being here. The last few days have been draining and so I've taken the last two days mostly offline as well. I popped in to a lot of notifications and so I figured I'd better deal with those before they get too much.

.... and I'm back. I couldn't stay away for too long. I didn't get much organizing done but I hope to get more done soonish. If I can just figure out what to do with about a shelf and a half full of things I'd be alright.

I usually do. I'm back for now. I had thought about moving my bed to the opposite wall but that would take a lot of maneuvering and me being the only one to doit.

@MissNikki I have family that live here with me.. It's not that he wouldn't help me, it's just that it would take a bit to get him to wake up to help me. Also, my room is the second biggest but still rather small. There would not be a lot of room to move around.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Don't hurt yourself moving big stuff alone. Do you have any friends or family who can come help you do that at some point?

I am not sure if you are aware.. I couldn't message you back earlier. It said "this user is temporarily not accepting messages." I am back for now. I was becoming emotionally drained and I needed to step away from online for awhile. I am feeling better - not 100% but getting there. I neglected somethings as well and had to catch up on them.

You didn't have to miss me for long. I could not stay away for very long. I was having a bit of an emotional thing going on as well and I needed to step away. I did get some things done but there are still somethings I need to do. Like look through a tote of things that I need to decide what to do with. They are in a tote and aren't doing me any good being in there. Some of it is my mom's earrings. Cheap earrings as well, so I only held onto them for sentimental reasons. Though there is a pair of earrings that have her name. I want to find someone to repair those.

I am the only one that does any chores around here and I was neglecting them.. Okay well one person does the trash but that is about it. I was also just emotionally drained. I had to step away for a day and a half. Now I'm back on because my notifications were piling up and I needed to get to them.

Thank You, I appreciate that. I was feeling emotionally drained and just blah but I am doing better today. I had to just stay away from the internet for most of today and yesterday... Get things done that needed doing. I'm feeling better. As much as I hate cleaning, it's also calming for me.
