We love our fireplace. It's very efficient one that can just about heat our whole house.

I have never had a fireplace in my home, and I have known people who have them, but they never ever use them, It rarely gets below freezing here, so that's probably why they never use them

I like fireplaces. I don't have a fireplace in my own home, but there is one is my mother's house. It is the perfect place to drink coffee on a cold day.

I like fireplaces. I was just talking to my new neighbour who is renovating a nearby house though and he told me he knocked out the fireplace because it was "old fashioned". I told this to my housemate and we then started talking about how it would be great to be able to roast some marshmallows on an open fire.
