Prepaid Nightmare

This morning I tried to add a new prepaid card to my paypal account. The one that I am currently using charges a high monthly fee, and I just don't use it often enough to warrant that now that I don't have much an income since my husband is incarcerated. First, it got declined because I had not activated the replacement card. After that paypal still would not accept it. I did some searching and decided perhaps I needed to use it first before it would link. But there was no money on it. I needed to do something with the $8 on the other card anyhow since the fee would come out tomorrow. I had an epiphany-- link the current card to the new card and transfer the money. If nothing else that would keep that money safe. Lo and behold, after doing this, the card linked successfully. The only downfall is the two withdrawals taken to veryify one card with the other, and so I must watch my account carefully the next few days so I can snatch those $2 quickly before the card company takes it. It was an awful lot of headache for $9, but I don't have much so I am careful with every dollar. Hopefully I will get enough support here on mylot to be able to add another $5 to that on the 15th
