Yesterday the firetrucks did it again. Sirens here and there. I don't know what is going on in the Manila area. And just now, I heard a loud alarms. It is not an ambulance for sure. The familiar sound I heard the previous week. It is only February but the fire incidents are increasing. The month of March is known as the Fire Prevention month. But it is not March yet. Maybe the local government should include February. I hope it is nothing serious.

Winter months often bring more home fires in our area due to folks using kerosene heaters to heat their houses. Sadly, because of poor ventilation, it also brings more deaths from carbon monoxide poisoning.

That is awful for some folks using kerosene heaters. No offense meant.

@jobelbojel No offense taken. It is sad. Most of these folks are poor and cannot afford anything more.

I usually have trouble distinguishing between fire truck, ambulance, and police sirens. All make me nervous.

@jobelbojel Most of the time I can't see them unless I'm out in the car.

Yes, you had a post like this one; and there's really fire that happened during that time somewhere in Quezon City. Hope there's no casualty.
