I just read a post about snakes that were brought to the US years ago by stupid people. When they discovered that they could not manage their 'pets', they turned them loose. And now they are eating every living being that comes across them. Not even alligators can survive. And they eat and multiply in great quantities. I think that besides placing big fines to people who have those pets (and I would draw the line in cats and dogs in the city and bunnies and chicks in the country), I would let them be hunted and do something with their skins. In my country, many decades ago, entrepreneurs brought beavers to make fur coats. The beavers got loose and they are a pest. They are destroying native forest that has trees that need a thousand years to grow. I would hunt them down and use their furs to make coats. Not all furs are the same and not all fur coats are politically incorrect to use. What do you think about this? Shouldn´t we save the real wilderness?
