Why do good people tend to suffer more?

I think you may have noticed that already... Whether in movies, books, music, TV shows or even in real life (which is - by far - the best example of all)... Good people always tend to go through more challenges and more sadness. Why do you think this happens?

We have decided ...if a person suffers he or she must be doing good...the hard to follow principles are all theirs.

@WiseGhots There is a book that is about bad things happening to good people. I read it and to tell you the truth I still do not understand why decent people have to suffer while bad ones get away with things.
