A Mother's Love

Lately in the news there have been some states allowing abortions up until a woman gives birth and even after birth. Some articles can be very descriptive of how these abortions are done. Now, I'm a Pro-Lifer, but this post is about the mother-in-law who tried the at home method of aborting by using a coat hanger on my husband before he was born. I've heard this from several members of his family that were there and had to "watch" over her so she didn't succeed. Luckily, my husband's aunt was there when he was delivered in a vehicle and the aunt filled out the paper work for his birth certificate, because his mom gave us false information. Also, when he was in his early teens, his dad decided to take him to a foster family because he was in fear of his son's life because he thought his wife would kill him in his sleep and since the dad owned a construction company and was out of town a lot, he felt his son would be better off in a safe home. A mother is suppose to love her child before it's born and a mother is to love their child through the child's life!! The child has NO say in being born or even who their parents are, but a mother's love doesn't harm their own child!! ~Peace~

Wow, amazing that your husband made it through the dark tunnel of the coat hanger episode with his mother, if we can call her that. Was he able to reconnect with his aunt and dad once he got older? I'm guessing so otherwise he may never have heard about all of this. Do you now know this mother-in-law and has she come to terms with that situation or shared her reasoning with any of you? That's a bit wonky no matter how you look at it, if you ask me.

I think there are certain rare situations where a mother is forced into being and she should be able to choose what she wants to do. It shouldn't be thrust upon her as law and should be her person decision for her to live with and no else has a right to tell her what she must choose.

That is so sad. I so not understand a mother who would want to harm her own child.
