Could you live on a farm?

One of my friends is moving to a inner city. There, he's going to need to live (full time) in a farm because of his work.
Until this point, no problem... But the detail in this change is that he has always lived in the big city (living with his parents) and he is accustomed to all the world's busiest praticities.
As he has always been very dependent on parents, I think it will be a great learning experience for him.

Yes I have, its a great life but a lot of good honest work. Corporate farms suck.

Has he ever been on a farm before? That is going to be a big adjustment for him.
