This is a book that will take you by the hand and walk you through it. It will envelop you in the fears, joys, sadness and terror within it's pages. You will meet a cast of characters that are as different as they are alike.
Reuben and Frannie are my favorite, and I almost wish we could have gotten better glimpse into their life. I never liked Jake, well I stopped liking him quickly atleast. A little blip in the book suggested that the reader would come to loathe Jake.
Natalie and Frannie would switch places personality wise. Where Frannie seemed weak and full of dreams, Natalie was strong and full of reality and logic. The last few pages had Natalie becoming what Frannie was, if only in some ways.
I wasn't sure whether I would like this book. The title caught my attention, and then the cover. The Synopsis intrigued me enough to want to get the book. I am glad I did, and I am glad I read it.

Yes, I ended up not being able to put it down toward the end. I stayed up a few extra minutes each night. I may do the same for the book I am reading now. It is more than 400 pages and I am thinking I should make a concerted effort to read atleast 20 pages a day.

@LadyDuck There are two books that are over 800 pages a piece, I want to read them eventually. Perhaps this year. I don't seek out shorter books, it just happens that way. I am already on page 102 of this 468 book. I think I figured out that I needed to read something like 30 pages a day to get it read in under two weeks.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I try to read from 20 to 30 pages in the evening, I often read books with many pages.

It was really interesting. I really felt like Frannie was a lot like me, which is why I think I ended up reading it so fast.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Right when books are like that we tend to read them fast.
