Checking in on a snowy Tuesday

I can’t help but jump on here and say Hello and Happy Tuesday! It’s mostly happy for me since I am not working but I am also forcing myself to stay indoors as we have yet again another winter storm overhead since midnight last night. Not sure what the total snow fall has been so far. Doesn’t seem apocalyptic though, although I have yet to shovel. News are saying anywhere from 2-12 inches and they can’t seem to narrow it down much more. Ha!
These snow days are giving me the opportunity, instead of running around, seeing people, running errands, getting outdoors etc - a chance to do some much needed housework, more meal prep, organizing, shoveling, washing sheets and blankets and much needed vaccuuming. Also hoping to finish my current book - Song of Solomon by Toni Morrison - which is a roller coaster of a read - while getting some steps in on the treadmill! Sounds like fun, right?
Any big plans for your day? To tell! For those affected by this storm...stay safe and off the roads if possible!

I had to look at my weather app. 41 degress and raining, which we weren't to expect until later tonight. It is overcast, and I love that.
I do wish we had some snow, but I am beginning to doubt we will get any this year. It was "snowing" the other day but not cold enough to lay. Not even cold enough to reach our atmosphere. It landed on me as tiny droplets of rain.

I like staying off the roads although I was supposed to be working but called in sick. Not so much because of the weather but because of the weather. Lol, what I mean is, I've never called in sick because I didn't want to be out in the weather only when I've gotten stuck in my driveway or something, but for whatever reason this storm is messing with my knee that's waiting to be replaced. Yesterday I did great until my first two hours into my shift when it became hard to stand on that side. I finished my shift but took today off to rest that knee. I'm hoping that by Friday when I return to work it's better and not as inflamed so I can stand and walk on it.
Are you getting the snow that was forecast before today. Meaning is today the first that you're seeing the effects of the winter storm Maya, or have you already seen some from that storm at all since Sunday?

Nothing going on here today, just really windy and cloudy..looks like it could snow but who knows. Stay save and have fun doing housework.

Sorry about the snow, wish winter could be done with already!!! We are supposed to get some snow too, but hoping it passes by lol
