Shower Gel or bathing soap – what is your preference?

I have been using bathing soap and I am not a person to select a particular brand. I always go with whatever available at stores. I never bought a shower gel until yesterday. But I used the same many times as and when I got it as a gift from sister who works abroad. Now my son has been insisting me to buy shower gel instead of soap, he is a teenager and started to concern the products we used at home. Finally I bought it yesterday and according to me, it is bit costly, compared to bathing soap. What is your choice?

@Sreekala I feel soap obeys me. Liquid thing I have to rush as it will flow away. I like to be in control, kinda. I am good thank you Sreekala. Just a bit busy. Bank case is in closing stages.

I never used gel I like bath soap. My skin is some sensitive so I like mild bath shop. In these day I am using Lux.

I tried shower gel, but it seems it can't get the dirt out from my skin. I still prefer the bar soap.

@Sreekala I'm ok with soap, in fact I like pure unscented soap or sulphur soap then just put some musculine scented after the bath or just any soap that's available.

I chose shower gel because I felt cleaner than using soap. Indeed shower gel is more expensive than bar soap but it feels more durable for me and makes my skin more moist. Bar soap always makes my skin feel dry. For favorite, it's always a mint or cool aroma because it makes me fresher every time I take a shower.

Thank you for telling it in detail. Yes, I too think the shower gel lasts for long time. I agree soap may dry the skin, especially when we have winter season.

Well it depends on the benefits it offers or the good effects in ones skin, but when it comes to convince, I prefer soap, because I won't need to open it and pour it every time I will apply it in different parts of my body.
