After I saw dad tonight, my brother and I went to my Nan & Pop's house where some other family members were there to have dinner and cake with me for my birthday today.
As you can see in the photo, we had Pavlova. My dad actually arranged this to take place lol Even though he is in hospital he was still sneaky enough to make calls and get everyone together. My dad felt bad he couldn't join us all as he has to stay in hospital but it was still a good night.

@amadeo Because by the time we were all getting together, visiting hours were coming to an end.
Also, the food wouldn't have been allowed to come into the room and my dad is not allowed to eat anything we were eating. He is on a very very strict diet.

I was not expecting you to be on myLot at all during your birthday, but thank you for at least dropping in and giving us an update! I hope you had a really nice birthday. The pavlova looks delicious! I hope it tasted as good as it looks!

@moffittjc Yeah I didn't really have much going on that day. Seeing dad and then dinner & cake with family was all that was happening. Not that I'm complaining. Was nice to see my dad and he was looking and sounding very good so that's all I cared about.
oh it was very yummy! Since my dad isn't here ( he wouldn't eat it anyway right now ) and my brother isn't exactly fond of that cake, I decided to just eat it out of the box instead of cutting a slice lol So I sat here with the cake box and eating it out with a fork.

That's a tough one. Just thinking if you lived closer, I love to share but out of respect I probably wouldn't ask you....actually no I probably would have lol I feel bad not at least offering to share.
