I know there are lots of dog lovers and cat lovers here... So, I'm going to put this discussion in focus because people say that cats are smarter than dogs. Do you agree or disagree with this? Well.. I have to say that I completely disagree, because I find the dogs much smarter. However, I think cats are more astute. In the end, they both are great animals!

Cats are clever enough not to get involved in helping people so maybe they're smarter!

I think they have different types of intelligence. The dog wants to please man, where as the cat wants to be served lol

I once threw away my cat and her childrens about 2 kilometers from home and they were able to return home even though they had to cross a highway filled with various kinds of vehicles.

My cat shows more evil tendencies. My dogs are eager to please and want to love and be loved. Does this make Ben and Gypsy smarter than Banjo? I don't know. I admire Banjo and wish I was more like him. I love the dogs and I'm glad I'm more like them. Go figure.

I am a cat lover, so I would say cats are smarter As you can see, cats are usually cool and they won't please you as well as dogs, but they can still win masters' heart

For me they are just on the same level. They're both smart when they are asking for a treat!

I'm not a dog person or a cat person but I'll take a dog over a cat any day. Dogs may be dumber but they're more loyal. I hear stories about dogs saving the lives of people all the time. How often do you hear a rescue story about a cat?

I disagree. Here in our country, there are so many cats get run into by cars because they dont know how to cross the pedestrian unlike dogs.
