Have you ever had hiccups?

I think people who have ever had a hiccup (at least once in their life) agree with me when I say they are very uncomfortable. Am I right, folks? Who has not yet had them, consider yourself lucky because although most of them disappear too fast... In some cases, it may take a while. So, are you part of what team: with hiccups or no hiccups?

I think it is very common to have hiccups. Usually I will take a big deep breath or drink a lot of water so that the hiccups will be gone.

I will say I used to get hiccups a lot in my youth, but not so much in my adult life. I don't know why. And til this day I hardly get the hiccups unless I gulp a drink or eat too fast (and even then it is rare).

@WiseGhots I wonder why. Maybe we grow out of having them?

Ever see a newborn baby? They hiccup a lot! I think those who say they have never had hiccups probably just don't remember. After all, they were just babies.

I sure have had hiccups and they can be very annoying. They are fewer and fewer than when I was a child.
