A dreary Saturday morning

It's raining, but not so cold. I have a terrible head cold and cough, so I won't be going out anywhere today, that's for sure. Well, unless there's an emergency, of course. I think everyone will be glad if I keep my germs at home. Tomorrow is my turn to teach the adult Sunday School class, but another teacher agreed to trade with me and I'll plan to teach next week. I fixed something a little different for breakfast: pancakes with sliced bananas and chopped pecans in the batter with maple syrup. It was pretty good, actually. Of course, my husband got plain ones. He's not much on trying different foods. You know, if it ain't broke... We'll probably fry some venison steaks for dinner with milk gravy. I'd love mashed potatoes with that, but we'll have baked potatoes instead. How's your Saturday morning, afternoon, evening, whatever time it is where you are? Hope it's wonderful!
