Having salaries much lower than you used to have

In this critical situation where getting a job is like getting blood from a stone, any offer of jobs with much lower salaries will be most welcome.
I've been out of work for almost a year and finally I was accepted as one of the employees. I grabbed it as I have no choice.
What if it happened to you, would you take it?

my friend lost her job recently and accepted a lower paying job a few weeks later just so she can start earning again for her family.
