Last night was Wednesday Hockey, they show two games and it was The Chicago Blackhawks vs the Detroit Redwings for the first game. Of course I watched that being a Blackhawks fan. These two teams were two of the original 6 teams that started the league, so there is a lot of history between them. The Black Hawks started pretty good at one point leading 3-1 but they allowed the Red Wings to get back into it and tied it up 4-4 but the Black Hawks were able to win in overtime. The Black Hawks' Patrick Kane is on a 19 game point streak. Meaning he has had an assist or goal in 19 straight games. That is pretty impressive. The second game was the Boston Bruins vs the Vegas Golden Knights. I watched the first period and it was tied 1-1 but since it was late I fell asleep, it did end up going to overtime too. The Bruins won 3-2 in overtime. I'm not a fan of either team so the outcome was not important to me. I hope your day is well.
