A person with the characteristics of caring, loving and fun person usually makes a true legend. This exactly describes the great Walter Elias Disney the creater of the now 90 year old Mickey Mouse as well as many other fun characters. Walt, as he preferred to be called rather than Mr Disney wanter a fun loving place for people of all ages, therefore he created and opened the fabulous theme park Disneyland in Anaheim, California,USA Disneyland was such a sucess, he decided to open another theme park on the east coast of the United States. After much exploring he decided on some acerage in Florida near Orlando. In 1965 him and his brother as well as others from the Walt Disney Company planned a park that was going to be called EPCOT in the new theme park called Disneyworld in Florida. Sadly on December 15, 1966 Walt was over come by his heavy smoking and died of circulatory collapse at St Joseph Hospital in Burbank, California,USA. on Buena Vista street and just a few blocks fron The Walt Disney Company location. The majority of the town Lake Buena Vista in Florida is consumed of Disneyworld as well as Bay Lake, Florida . The name Buena Vista comes from the location of The Walt Disney Company street name in Burbank, California Walt was born on December 05, 1901 in Chicago, Illinois, USA. Therfore that mean he was 65 at his time of death.
