Hey so it seems someone somewhere got confused and told me the wrong story so I just wanted to update you all as well as fix my mistake.
In my last post I told you guys that my dad was having more bone taken out of his foot. I told you guys that because that's what my brother told me but there has been some miscommunication somewhere! Turns out my dad didn't have an operation that day but is going to soon.
I texted my dad that day wishing him good luck then he rang me because he was confused so yeah he didn't have anything done that day. He was going to have some bone taken out today, but it got cancelled. Which is concerning me because they keep cancelling on him which means he has to keep fasting, and if he keeps fasting, it messes with his blood / sugar levels. 
So yeah. Surgery was meant to be today but was cancelled. Will let you guys know when the surgery takes place. Hopefully soon. As far as I know, it's a bit of bone from the big toe....I think. I'm so confused. But if things don't go well then another toe or all toes may be amputated too.

@LadyDuck Yeah he is. He is tired of the waiting around and wondering what will happen. But yeah the cancellations are due to other patients coming in who need an emergency operation. So when they come in, it pushes my dad's surgeries back.

I hope there is a good reason why they keep cancelling the surgery. That's a horrible thing to do to your dad, unless there is a very justifiable reason of course.

@moffittjc My dad told me it was because of emergencies coming in so it meant taking care of them and pushing my dad back. So yeah I can see why they kept cancelling. I just worry about him fasting and that messing with all the levels etc.
