Yesterday, the Chicagoland area lived up to it's nick name as the windy city. All day yesterday it was really windy around here with gusts of wind up to 50mph. It made for a day that seemed a lot colder then the actual temperature outside. There were tree branches down and with it there were some power outages. I stayed in most of the day. The Blackhawks really blew it this weekend. They had to games against division teams that really would have helped their chances of making the playoffs and they could not manage to win either game. Before the weekend they were in the wild card spot and that quickly they are now 5 points out of the spot. It's no looking good for them to make the playoffs. Late game mistakes made them lose, that is not something they can be doing this time of year. If you want to make a run at it you have to stop the stupid mistakes. Hope you all have a great week.
