Why is Pakistan so immature compared to the Indian powerhouse?

India were set to play Pakistan in the Cricket World Cup group stage this English summer but my sources told me last week that India would refuse to play Pakistan in ANY stage of the World Cup. After this weeks military tensions ramping up as we near another war between the two it looks like neither will be showing up. After the United Kingdom split the two in 1948 the majority Muslim Pakistan has gone backwards and the majority Hindu and Sikh has embraced capitalism and improved lots. Why is Islam such a negative religion? Why are they not able to produce wealth without oil? Divide and rule by western various empires played a role but Pakistan seems such an immature country these days. Cricket was designed to stop these wars in the old Commonwealth.

I would like to say Islam is not a negative religion. In India Muslim population is higher than in Pakistan. Here, all religion people live peacefully like brothers and sisters. Only some people, that also from all religion join the terror groups and doing terrorism. One thing I do not understand, why Pakistan is allowing terrorists to train in their country. They have to show their maturity on stopping terrorism and act against terrorists.

Not sure about your numbers here, India apparently has the third largest muslim population in the world but pakistan has more...170m in India and nearly 200m in pakistan. Indonesia has the most muslims with 220m.

I would agree to that. Our Indian Muslims have added to the growth and pride of country though there are a small fraction who got influenced by the radical thoughts and are misguided. No religion teaches terrorism, the fanatics preach it and misguide people.

It is sad that Pakistan has taken a wrong path of feeding terrorism. A common civilian in Pakistan suffers. I hope they soon find ways to ammend their ways. It is too late but better late than never.
