Feeling Out Of Sorts

United States

Depression is setting in. A friend that has been camping with us is leaving, heading home to Minnesota. He has been a great and supportive friend to me. I have some problems with my partner and he has been someone I could talk to and confide in. He has also looked out for my altars (I have Multiple Personality Disorder). I'm really going to miss him. This is the hard part of living the nomadic life. You meet great people, spend time together, but there is always the goodbyes and I hate saying goodbye to people I really like. I know we will meet again down the road. But saying goodbye is still hard.

That might be tough for you for a while. I hope you manage without him. I guess you did before.

Yes, and we do plan in visiting him sometime during the summer. I will be just fine, I'm just going to miss his company. I don't trust easily, so those whom I really trust are special to me.

@MistyckMoon It is very hard to say goodbye to someone special and wondering when you will see them again. Is the weather ok for the person to go back to Minnesota?

It was good enough. But he had a commitment he had to be there for regardless of the weather conditions. God willing, we plan to visit him in Minnesota during the summer.

@MistyckMoon Good idea to wait till the summer. The winter are harsh and the summers hot.
