The bittersweet news for fans of "Aquaman" the movie is that Warner Brothers Studios have announced the plans to film a sequel about the D C super hero comic book.
The bad news coming from Warner Brothers Studios is barring any setback, the sequel to "Aquaman" will be released on December 16, 2022.
The sequel to the hit movie will be released four years later after the first movie came out in 2018.
At least Aquaman fans can write fan fictions based on their favorite underwater super hero until the release of the next Aquaman movie.

The Gal Gadot Wonder Woman 1984 comes out in the summer of 2020. Believe it or not, the fan fiction based on the movie on Archive Of Our Own reached about over 200 readers.
