People Who Knowingly Cheat The System

We have all been there. Struggling a time or two. Maybe some of us even had to get assistance of some kind. Or maybe now do due to Health. So then we all know and can relate with the struggles it brings and often wish something could happen to change it.
But then so many times we know the type of people who continue to get Benefits many might be married, etc and nothing seems to matter with the amount they get to where they are still getting everything for Free or at a discount. Many disabled even might still get $1600 a month still plus benefits while others working with kids have to starve if they get that.
What gets me is how can someone sell things offline like at Vendor events, etc or even many times on Facebook or online etc making $1000 or better a month and only on SSI still continue to get Free Medical, Food Stamps, etc. And when you question with the State, Welfare tells you Facebook lies, etc so like who cares?
When there are people out there in the US needing more help with Medical due to Health issues, Depression, etc who are even on SSD or Disabled, retired, etc that cannot get anything more and usually just barely scrape by, it makes you wonder. Maybe it is just me, but if people could be held a little more accountable for everything that they do, there would be a lot more $$ out there to help people who need it most.
Am I wrong for thinking like this?

@KrauseHome Due to having special ed children, she was able to seek that from the state. Once the laws changed, we had to dismiss two of her three children from special education, since they really never totally qualified to begin with. They moved. HA!

No system in place, the welfare of legal are without cheaters.
What people need to do is take photos of the person working, then turn that in. Or have the welfare worker set up a purchase with the client on welfare, they that are busted.
However, just a phone call will never work, its your word against theirs.
Now you know why so many foreigners want to come to America.

So true.. I have helped 2 get caught by giving enough information and one without giving her name is now afraid to do any outside events. But it is sad when no one believes you, or says Facebook, etc is no real proof. Even when they are sharing where they are at most of the time selling their stuff, or posting an address etc

You are not wrong and I know exactly what you mean! In the UK the social security system is huge and costs a fortune (about one-third of all government spending). In fact, it is so huge and complex many people have worked out how to scam the system by exploiting various loopholes and anomalies and thereby getting benefits they aren't really entitled to which leaves less for those who are truly needy. It isn't fair but that's the reality of the situation

Yes and unfortunately it hurts those who need help the most.

Yes and I often wonder how they can live with themselves. Sad that so many people believe Welfare and Free help is the answer even if it is undeserved because many feel they are owed it, and if someone else has to suffer who might need it more, that is Great
