Sweet sweet sleep

I don't need an alarm, Zoe does it for me. Zoe our three ,month old pup has her body clock set to 5 a.m. . the time I usually wake up on weekdays.
My body clock is set even earlier, by 4.45 I am awake. LOL there is no need for setting an alarm in my house.
Zoe wakes up and demands that she be given milk. After that its time for all her morning routines and by the time I can get started on some work it is 6 a.m.
I hate to get out of bed anytime before 6 on weekends, but those days are behind me now and its wakey wakey at 5 as usual. If not she will bark and yelp until I get up.
Waiting to get some extra time in bed. What a luxury it seems these days. Thanks to Zoe I dream of sleep like a mother with a new born.
Sweet sweet sleep, how I love to be enfolded in your arms, warm and cozy , enticing and dreamy, how I long for you, especially on those cold morns, when weekends come around.

I love my sleep and sleep well. too, My biological clock is ticking and I am up at the same time every day

@allknowing I am ok with getting out of bed early on other days but on the weekends I just love to relax in bed and read a bit.

My cat Sid usually prefers coming in for breakfast around 4 AM to avoid being interrupted in my sleep I fill up his cat bowl before going to sleep. Then when I wake up the bowl is empty but I got to sleep. Hope you can find the time to get more sleep. Best to Zoe.

@RasmaSandra Sid is good boy. Zoe prefers to drink milk nice and warm. I wish I could fill her bowl and leave it.. but I guess its going to take sometime.

That is a mite too early for me too. But early mornings are great time to see the world. Wishing you a long, cuddly in blanket sleep next weekend and let Zoe decide to wake up late

@simplfred Yeah you are right, but I wish the weekends were different. LOL but her animal brain doesn't know about weekends.
