WANTED: Groundhog that said we'd have an early spring!!! Oh, well, it is supposed to warm up here next week. A good song will warm you up, no matter how cold it is outside, and here's another one on my list of favorites with "dance" in the title. To no one's surprise, here's today's song. #8: Angel Dance - Los Lobos I used this in the "angels" countdown, and I promised it'd be in the countdown of "dance" songs if I ever did one. Well, I am doing one...and here it is. In the top two of longest gaps between seeing an act (30 years, second only to the 38 years between Neil Sedaka concerts), that band from East L.A. has provided plenty of good music throughout the years. Most people only know them for their cover of "La Bamba," but there's so much more to them. Even Robert Plant thought this was a good enough song to cover. Angel Dance Written by David Hedalgo and Louie Perez Recorded by Los Lobos From The Neighborhood, 1990 (Also covered by Robert Plant on Band of Joy, 2010) Let them cry till the morning call:
Los Lobos performs 'Angel Dance' in 1991.

I love dance music when I'm cleaning as I seem to zip through it all faster.
