Free Doritos Beached

People in North Carolina began one day on a very happy note. A huge shipping container full of Doritos washed ashore leaving literally thousands of bags of Doritos all over the beach. Now, what could be better than that? You can imagine heading out to the beach for sun and fun and maybe collecting some seashells and instead being able to gather bags of Doritos. For sports lovers, the place to be was Alaska back in 2012. There a cargo ship lost some crates of flyswatters that all had college sports team insignias printed on them. You could swat flies with your favorite team. When in 2011 a man’s Harley-Davidson motorcycle was swept up by the tsunami in Japan he could never in his wildest dreams imagine that it would wind up 5,000 miles away upon a beach in British Columbia. That was one wild ride that motorcycle took. We all know narcotics are a bad thing but then imagine finding cocaine worth $70 million. It happened to one person in 2013. He found six backpacks full of packages of cocaine with a total weight of 78 kilograms. I wonder what the authorities did with this bundle? Let’s put it all together. You grab up the packs of Doritos for when you’re hungry, take the fly swatters in case some buggers attack you, take the Harley Davidson and hang on it backpacks of cocaine and off you go. How far do you think you’ll get?

I like to squish some up in my taco salads. I haven't had any in awhile. That would be so cool to go to the beach and have my snacks ready.

It would be great. Those Doritos reminded me of Wendy's taco salads I used to enjoy @noni1959

@RasmaSandra I remember the taco salads there. I wish they didn't get rid of them. Years ago, Jack-in-the-box had a taco salad as well and it was so good.

It sure is interesting all the things that can wind up washed ashore on the beach. I wouldn't want to eat the bags of Doritos but it may have been absolutely wonderful for the homeless.

I love munching Doritos and dip them in cheese.

Having Doritos wash up on the beach would be so much better than most of the stuff that comes ashore

Have you ever seen the film 'Whisky Galore'? (originally made in 1949, and remade in 2016). I think you might like it - and it's based on a true story, I have dived the shipwreck in question, the SS Politician off the coast of South Uist in the Outer Hebrides.
