Staring at the clock does time go slower?

Whether it's a conventional clock (those on the wall at home, for example), a sophisticated clock (such as those on outdoors or in large buildings) wristwatches or smartphones... Have you already stared at it and had the feeling that time slow down?
We all know this is not true, but... I think that feeling is quite normal when we decide to stare the clock. It's look like time is frozen.

It's just like saying " a watched pot never boils."

@WiseGhots
You are right that staring at the clock does not make it move faster but it is something to do when bored.

Time moves at its own pace. Fast or slow is all in our mind.

Norwegian scientists have recently published a study about this. They say that our perception of time changes because our brains register the passing of time as the passing of whatever happens, so that lots of things happen, our brains register lot of things. When you stare at your wristwatch, nothing really happens and the brain has nothing to register.
They did the research on rats I think, but apparantly it's true for humans too
Of course, if you really want the time to go differently, you have two choices. You can either start moving very fast, the faster you move, the slower time passes in your reference system compared to other people on earth. Or you can start moving upwards, the further you are away from the earths core, the faster the time moves. Then if you move so far that you find yourself within the gravitional field of say Jupiter, time will start moving slower again.

If I have to be at an appointment the time goes fast and I find myself in a rush. Except in a Doctor's office where waiting to be seen takes an eternity and looking at that clock does not help
