So my littlest woke up around 12am last night and wouldn’t go back to sleep. I went to bed at 1:30 as well as my husband. Off and one from 12-4:30am he came in and out of our bed room. Me trying to stay away didn’t happen much. Don’t worry he didn’t get into trouble just stayed mostly in his bed playing with a few toys till I took them away at 4:30 in the morning which was the last time I saw him awake. When I got up at 6:25am he was asleep and of course now it’s 8am and he is still asleep but I’m going to have to wake him because we need to take his big brother to the doctor.

If our kids are still small they will be like that but that will change as time goes by.

He is my third but even some times my big kids get that way. They are like little batteries

@ShyBear88 Sorry to hear that. Hopefully, he can have a nap later or something.

I'm sure your little one is exhausted now from being awake so much of the night.

Has he done that before that he got up in the middle of the night and did not want to go back to bed? Was it hard to wake him up before you had to go?

A lot of kids wake in the middle of the night it’s not uncommon. If he isn’t feeling well or has to go to bathroom or wakes he’ll come to our room. Same with the other two. A lot of the times they just want reinsurance that you there. He’ll climb next to me and I’ll bring him back to his bed once he falls back to sleep if I don’t fall all the way asleep. Some times I’m to tired to move him. Lately he has a cold so sleeping next me he wants to regulate his body heat in instinct naturally.
No it’s not hard to wake him. I can get him dressed while he sleeps and put in in the car if need. He typically wake son the processs and give him a cuddle and him a drink and a breakfast snack and then he is okay. If I don’t need to go some where I let him sleep .
