Minnesota Eagle Scout donates stuffed animals toys to the police

St. Paul Minnesota Eagle Scout Elliot Helmer who is 17 years of age has a heart of kindness when he had a chat with St. Paul Minnesota Sergeant Amy Rahif who works in the community engagement unit to hold a drive at two different churches in the St. Anthony Parish to have a stuffed animal toy drive so Elliot and his father who is a Boy Scout leader would donate stuffed animal toys to the police department. Elliot realizes that when children are in the presence of police officers inside a police station, they are stressed and nervous having to speak or meet with a police officer. When a police officer gives the child who Is under trauma or stress to play with a stuffed toy doll, they feel relaxed. It is nice to see Elliot who along with his dad had collected more than 1,000 stuffed animal dolls during the donation drives last month were able to donate the stuffed animal dolls to the St. Paul Police Department to improve the relationship between the police and the community.
