My guests left around 5PM in time and after all cleaning up, I took some nap and I just woke up. It is 7 in evening and is definitely an odd time to wake up after nap. But I needed this nap and I hope I will be able to go for my sleep at usual time.
The party went well. The food was awesome and it was really a feast. 
I couldn't click the entire spread. But I have posted here whatever I could capture in one click. It does miss out my biryanis and few other delicacies.
Good food and good company... The day was spent well
I am glad that except for little left for our dinner, everything is over. They ate it and got things packed to home. They loved it. 
And I packed some food for my help and my gardener to take it back home.
I am happy we could really have a big feast and especially children had a good time.
Now I will take a shower to feel fresh, watch TV and do some ironing.

Yes I cooked everything for 40 people. This is only what is on one side. I had more delicacies on other side which are not captured. Biryanis, kebabs and chutneys are missing here.

It is sort of that. It is called Dhuska. It is very peculiar to state of Jharkhand in India. It is a traditional dish of that particular state and many in other parts of India might not know it. I didn't know it till I got married. My husband is from Jharkhand. I learnt it from my mom in law.

You can only see half of it. I have not captured Biryanis, Kebabs and chutneys which were on dining table.

I love to host parties and that kept my energy level and excitement high throughout the planning and execution. And thanks to my kids and help, I had supporting hands.
I got a two hour nap later to relax after party and post that I was fresh again.

I made potato and cauliflower. Other dish was of potato and raw jackfruit curry, a dish that we really relish.
