National Chocolate cover raisin day!!! / myLot

I love chocolate covered raisins and today March 24th is National Chocolate Cover Raisin Day! That is cool. These are a popular movie theate candy. Here is what I found out about chocolate covered raisins. A lot of people know them as Rasinets like from the company Nestle. The Blumethal Chocolate Company introduced Rasinets to the United States in 1927. The company then got a acquired by Nestle in 1984 which is when the brand got taken over. These are good healthy snack even with the dark chocolate on them so if you want a sweet treat with chocolate this is a good choice.

Like peanut butter and chocolate raisins and chocolate go great together! And it's a tasty way to enjoy some dried fruit.

Dena mentioned that earlier today, in her days to celebrate compilation. I did buy these recently to make a dish, but before that..I couldn't tell you the last time I had them. They are tasty for something different though.
