We have now reached that in between time of the year. Any day may start with sun, then turn to clouds, or rain, or sleet or hail or all of the above. That is what happened Saturday. I took a big black plastic trash bag and collected things out of the yard. Monday is trash day, and it made things look better. The image in my picture is of a hot water heater from about 1950 that was turned into a planter by my dad. My mom had it until she passed away. My sister took it from her, but she could not have it at her apartment now. It came with me when I moved here.. In this planter are some sedum plants, just coming up through the soil. I want to remove them, and plant them in the ground. I want to fill this planter with colorful flowers this year. I moved it, by myself, from behind a lattice screen to the front, so it can be seen. It is really heavy. I think the extra outdoor time is why I was so tired today. That and the extra work. I walked to and from church today. After lunch we went out of town for our monthly shopping. I am sure we will buy some fresh things as we run out, but for main dishes, and some baby food for the cat, and produce that is on special, we spent less than one hundred dollars. We got a minimum of sixteen meals to go with the things we all ready have. That is because of downloaded store coupons and buy one get one free offers. Plus going to Aldi. I have been out of carrots, onions, celery and potatoes. I got all of those at Aldi as well as colored bell peppers and mandarin oranges. At the Dillons store I got asparagus for 99 cents a pound, avocados 79 cents each and small yellow mangoes were 50 cents. I bought eggs for 58 cents per dozen. I eat eggs often or use them in cooking. So, with all I have in the house, plus what we bought, we are set for meals for about a month. The food has been brought in a put away. I need to go to bed. Tomorrow hubby has to take the car for an alignment. I think I am staying home, but you know, I could get called in. I had best go to bed. Tuesday and Thursday I am scheduled to work. Hope you all have a good week ahead.

We have several stores owned by Aldi here in Japan. One of them is Big A which is where I grocery shop on my way home. They are small but have really good deals.

Yes, they are small but very good. Not so overwhelming either. In really large stores I struggle to make up my mind.

Physical activity like that makes me tire early as well. That is so nice your have had that in your family for so long. I hope when it's full of pretty blooms you will share a photo with us! Wow that is cheap for eggs! My son and I are going out Thursday for a fun day out with his cyber school and we will get groceries after at Aldi's or Walmart.

Some Aldi's are higher, but still much less than market value.

It is two or three more weeks until it is warm enough for flowers.

It was chilly yesterday, Friday. Today there were even some snow flakes. Oh, NO! that is why I have not been outside more.
