Redefining what 'Old' means. And what it means to be 'Old'.
What age does "old age" begin, actually?
Here's a video that promises to make you smile.
Would you give it a try?
What age do you consider to be old? We posed that question to millennials in this social experiment and asked them to show us what “old” looks like. Then we ...

I had noticed that 'vintage' shops seemed to sell a lot of 90s things. I was also somewhat disappointed to discover that a 'classic' music collection included 90s singer Ricky Martin,
During a conversation with a colleague, we concluded that he (born in the 90s) could call himself a Classic while I (born in the 80s) could refer to myself as Vintage! We told our older colleagues (born in the 60s and 70s) that they were now to be referred to as old fossils! We did offer them the option of 'Antique' instead :D

Hahaha! That's funny. I think the "Fossils" are very rare, unique and of great value. I was born in the 60s and this "Fossil" doesn't feel like she's been dug up from an ancient relic heading to a museum as a display not doing anything.!
.
I'm glad that you and your colleagues are working together with respect, young and not young alike. My co-worker is 71. And she's a hard working lively little lady. Everyone loves her!

@everwonderwhy We get on very well in this office so it was all taken in jest. :) My other half is 10 years older than me so I am used to relics :D
We're all respectful to each other really, and don't mind a little friendly teasing.

A heart-warming video! I well remember thinking (when I was about 10) that my brother-in-law was incredibly old just because he had passed his 30th birthday! I also always remember my grandmother (who was then, I suppose, in her late 80s) telling me when I was about 16 that she "felt like a girl of 18 inside". For a long time I found it almost incomprehensible that this little, very old and wrinkled person should feel almost as young as I. It was only much later, when I read her (very readable) autobiography that I realised that, as a girl of 18 (in the 1890's) she took a holiday in Wales with just a friend her own age for company - something which, in those days, was rather unusual if not 'not quite the done thing'. On that holiday, she met her future husband (who was from Yorkshire and she from Kent), so 18 was quite a memorable and enjoyable age for her!

I'm glad you gave the video a chance to see it. What an incredible woman your forever-feeling-18 grandmother was! I can imagine her to be so beautiful, vibrant, intelligent and witty inside and out.
She inspired me tonight, as of this reading. Thank you for sharing.

I enjoyed the video. I'll be 57 this year, but I still feel young.

We really do redefine what 'old' is. When I was in 8th grade, 13, I thought 30 was old. Now that I'm twice that, I know I'm not old, even though a lot of people think I am. I don't feel old. I don't think old. I don't act old. And I hope I don't look old.

I feel the same as you. I feel that I'm just beginning since I turned 50. Gradually feeling the freedom and independence :-D
