While reading this news I thought of @DianneN
One never knows she will be the next to want to own one such gift
The Ambanis are the richest Indians and no surprise then when the daughter in law got this gift from the mother in law
It is- the most expensive diamond necklace in the world, ‘L’Incomparable‘ costing Rupees 300 crores.
Reports have it one percent of the richest Indians own 73 percent of total wealth in India.

Nita Ambani is easily the most wanted mother-in-law in the nation today. All thanks to her gift to bahu Shloka Mehta which costs a freaking 300 Crores.Read on… We do say that money is not everything which matters in our lives but definitely it's importance

That's cool, some of these are unfamiliar to me but I respect that of others' culture and style gifting. Personally, for me the most expensive gift is the love, care and prayers..

That goes without saying. But giving and receiving gifts not necessarily expensive is one of the ways how one feels for one another.

I don't really crave for such things.. For me as long as I look good in an attire or ornament, it doesn't matter how expensive it is..
I would like to be very rich but it is ok, if I can't be super duper rich like them..

For me happiness is something else and money is just to give you a life of comfort, which an Indian can easily have with 20 crores..
Someone once said it is difficult to make you happy

because money can't make you happy

It is not how much you have but what you make of what you have is the route to happiness. Even the mediocre and the poor have a right to be happy.

@allknowing Exactly my point..
Just because she got that necklace, I don't think of her as a lucky girl..
Happiness is more about real feelings and emotions

I think the fox said the same thing looking at those grapes "grapes are sour"
Just joking. They live in fear owning those things, really.

@allknowing They are surely insured, if the gems are stolen they get money and they buy new gems. I do not believe very rich people are attached to what they own.

We all gift according to our capabilities. An expensive gift does not assurr real loving feelings.

Wow that is absolutely gorgeous as well as all the other jewelry. I love the head jewels she has on and how her nose ring connects to her ear. It looks heavy though. I'd prefer a lifetime supply of yummy food to the jewels though as I dont wear jewelry.

@Shiva49 Also, how on earth can they amass so much. There should be a limit specified. Their average daily expenditure is reported to be Rs. 2 crores.

@allknowing Their biggest problem is they get surrounded by the vultures which circle above eyeing their wealth much before their time. They are even suspicious of their own shadows while those with good intentions find no place in the inner circle - siva
