I haven't done some of my errands over the last two weeks and today I have had to run around all across the city.
The trees are in bloom and it was a sight to behold. However, in this terrible heat the flowers are not going to last long I guess.
I enjoyed the drive but they heat got to me and I just wanted to be back home. I relaxed for a bit with some ice cold water and frozen water melon cubes.
Now for the rest of the relaxation at Mylot.

@responsiveme It is called Golden tabebuia or the golden trumpet tree. Unlike the other yellow trumpet flowers this tree sheds all its leaves before budding in spring. Its one of my favorite trees. The tabebuia rosea is another of my favs in spring.

That tree certainly looks beautiful. I hate having to run errands when it's that hot out. Hope your cold water and watermelon helped cool you off a bit.

@andriaperry Yup , they were so refreshing. Oh no, I can't do too much, any physical activity in this heat drains me out.

It's now Saturday afternoon,2:51. Be visiting my daughter's newborn baby. I posted about it yesterday. Spring is so lovely time of the year.
