Did you ever think of becoming an astronaut?

Flying amidst the stars and landing on something totally different seemed so much fun. As a child, I never thought about the hard work and dedication that is required in such projects. Now we are set in our professional life, but when I was really young and read about astronauts, I felt the urge of becoming one. I wanted to know how big the universe is and what is there beyond the Solar system and see them from a close distance. I was very curious about the different heavenly bodies present in the sky. @Sheali When I was a child I was more interested in crafting and painting. I did not care about cars or thech things.

@LadyDuck Even I was not that much into tech.. For me, it was more about exploring the universe, as it is a part of nature

No, but I thought about becoming an astrophysicist. My first majors in college were math and physics.

@Sheali I would love to learn more, see photos and videos of what's in the universe but I don't think I could ever be an astronaut. I can't handle flying on planes so going in a rocket will probably give me a heart attack.

It does require a great deal of hard work to become an astronaut. I might like to go to space but as a passenger though a little safety training would be nice.

Yes, when I was in elementary school. But now we know how next to impossible that is.
