Amaryllis buds bloom sooner than Easter lilies

My first set of amaryllis and Easter lily buds appeared at the same time but the Amaryllis is in full bloom while the Easter lilies will still take a week, I think.
It is good actually, as my garden will be full with something or the other.
I prefer giving potassium rich fertilizer to my lilies. What kind of fertilizer do you prefer for them?

I have compost pits that get ready each year. I use only that.
Lilies are blooming here as well but so far no signs of the amaryllis yet. . The one in the piciture which is a double lily has yet to bloom this year.

@Sheali We get papaya saplings from our compost. We have about 6 compost pits in our garden.
Somehow tomatoes do not show up here.

@allknowing Ok.. We also had a papaya sapling and it grew into a healthy tree.. It was a good variety also
Unfortunately our immediate neighbor was getting some construction work done and all the bricks fell in our property and damaged the tree completely
