Meditative Doodling

I received a sketch book under the Christmas tree this year for my doodling and a bunch of fine tip markers. I think that our daughter must think that I have some talent deep down inside of me lol... Actually she has been sending me examples from art auctions and I'm beginning to think that just maybe I do lol... but that's not what this post is all about. You really don't need a fancy book. I started off with plain paper... old envelopes, what have you and then would sit in a lawn chair and absently doodle whatever caught my eye. You would be amazed at how much art you can get into a small area of paper. Today's doodles were windows. No two were the same, but they seemed to all belong there. Have no idea where the idea came from but it turned out to look like a cover for a horror novel lol This took me about 5 minute or so... to top up my informal meditation of the day. Mornings are for my formal meditation, afternoons and evenings for informal! If you feel the urge to meditate... grab a piece of paper, put on some quiet back music and let your mind take over. Try for a minute and then stop! And a hug going out to everyone of you who tries their hand at doodling. It isn't easy... I hated it when I first started!!

@Hate2Iron Thats very true. I think that you could do a book of your doodlings and make it into a coloring book. I think it would be very popular.
