But first, I'll procrastinate

I'm sure you guys are tired of hearing about the adventures of my packing. Don't worry it's just one more day (this discussion actually) of it and then I won't bore you with me packing to come home. If you haven't been reading my adventures (they really aren't adventures) then I'll summarize : Pet sitting and need all the things!! There, that was a good summary, wasn't it? I have some things I need to do around the house first, like emptying the dishwasher. I'm going to play a game I won't be able to play while I'm at her house and in between I am going to pack the dry foods, make sure I leave notes everywhere so I dont' forget the frozen stuff (or else I"ll be rationed to one candy bar and a banana chip or two a day) and yeah.. Where was I going with this? How bad are you at putting things off? I mean, are you a last minute, running around like a chicken with your head cut off type person? Because I am.

I am usually a planner, but there are things that I do at the last minute.

I plan to procrastinate. That is, I always plan, but I almost always plan to have time for procrastination.

@LadyDuck Oh yes, I am meticulous when it comes to big trips, but just a week at a friend's house? I dont' worry so much. I just make sure I have my hygiene needs.

@ScribbledAdNauseum When there are important things to do I plan and I do. I procrastinate minor things.

I am surprised she isn't giving you permission to raid her fridge. That's how it usually works. What are you getting out of this besides a change of scenery? I hope she is paying you.

She knows good and well that I will not let her pay me a cent. She will probably bring me back something, but I haven't asked and I wont' expect it either. It isn't that she won't let me eat some of her stuff, she will, but I won't for several reasons. 1) I am trying to watch what I eat as I am having some health issues. 2) I know she's been stressing about finances and so I want to help in what little way I can, and if that means not partaking of much of her food, well then that's that. I'm sure I'll use some of her condiments, milk etc...
