I thought of a good title and idea to write about but it got lost already, so instead a bit about my day.

I'm in the process of writing something about some observations while visiting my mom at the group homes she's been at for three years, but I might do a little research for it first so I'm not sharing misinformation. I began that one while waiting for her to get out of the shower. Once she got out I put my phone away and visited with her while she ate lunch. I then decided once I left to drive right to my chiropractor rather than going home first. I didn't think they opened after lunch until 2:30 and thought is write a bit more while waiting although I was able to get in right away after all.
Once gone I had a different idea but couldn't find my phone anywhere in the house. I was concerned that I left it on the counter at my chiropractors but went to the car to check first. I finally found it. It had fallen behind my seat. Once inside I realized that last idea disappeared. I guess I should have made a note on paper rather than thinking my memory would hold the idea that long.
I'm currently playing one of my games but I hope to get more organizing done near my computer and then spend more time here a bit too. I was going to go to planet fitness to exercise my and because I think I may have a hernia that is worse after exercising that region and I'm seeing my doctor about it again, tomorrow. But when I was hinting for my phone some of my bending to look under the seats caused the questionable area to cramp so I think I can stay home instead which means more time here. I may talk about that more later or after tomorrow.
My chiropractor said his wife was having similar cramping and they think her digestion was slow. It would be nice if it's something easy and not a hernia, but I may need another ultrasound before that is determined.

Will wait for your planned write up when you write it.meanwhile this was easy reading.
Glad you found your phone , it has become so much a part of our lives.
More so for me because I live alone. Since I don't take the charger along I usually put mine on the battery saver mode but today one of my students told me that one should do it only when the battery comes down to 20% otherwise the battery life is shortened.
Since he is pretty good with tech stuff ,I decided to listen to his advice.
Hope it doesn't turn out to be hernia.
My reply is a rather rambling one too

I started replying yesterday and somehow the comment got lost before
I tried to post it.
I think the old batteries needed to be charge a certain way, but most have lithium these days and my understanding is that even if you charge them before they lose much battery that it won't hurt the batteries life like it used to do.
I thought we could check our phones to see what type of battery is in them, but mine doesn't say. Whether yours does or not I don't know.
There's lots of press about how to conserve battery power, but not much about how to take care of your batteries. Here are a few things you can do to increase battery longevity.

@responsiveme it may not say but I'm thinking I'd you're phone is fairly new that it should be fine to charge it whenever. Even my previous dumb phone had a battery that allowed this.
The first li-ion batteries came out in 1991. Then years later about 38% it's smartphones had these batteries. I'm guessing that by now all of them do. The previous batteries had to be drained completely before charging them.
The one link above says every thirty charges or so we may want to let it die almost all the way to remind it of... Whatever it was.

I'm not really worried. Its' just that my knee surgery is right around the corner and there are exercises that I'll need to be able to do afterward that I am a bit concerned might be affected if this is a hernia. It's possible it's just fatty tissue that is protruding from the abdominal wall and my chiropractor said it might be the abdominal wall itself that is cramping up. Although if that is the case I don't know whether that would impact any other area or not. All that remains to be seen. either after I see him again about this or after they do further tests.
I don't want to ignore it and find that my knee surgery gets pushed back again, so I decided I should have them check things out again now.

@amadeo Do you mean after my knee surgery? No, I will be going near the hospital for my therapy just like I did for the first knee which I had done in February. I wasn't thrilled about having to go out with the walker during the winter weather. At least this time it will be warmer. I'm also planning on walking on the sidewalk during that time too which I couldn't do before.
I stayed inside and gained weight. I'm hoping to stay the same as I am now, or even maybe lose a little.

@MarshaMusselman In this case it could be slow digestion. You eat and the food you ate before is not yet digested, your stomach feels overcharged and it hurts.

I don't think it's a digestive issue as it doesn't happen right after I've eaten. I've just noticed it more later in the day after I have had one or two meals.

Looking at the photo I thought you had dyed your hair! I don't know about you but it seems aches and pains seem to come in places you did not think they existed!

Lol, that picture would be of a much younger me, and I never looked that good. Although, at that age I was at least skinnier. I didn't gain weight until I had my first child at the age of 36.
I find that when I do have aches and pains if I know from whence they came it's easier to either pray and believe that they will heal or at least not let them bother me and work around them. But, I'd hate to work around something and find out it was something detrimental to myself when it's too late to rectify it or change my outlook.

I hope I either don't have one or if I do that it can wait until after my knee surgery before it's taken care of. Since it doesn't bother me unless I bend over in a certain way, I'm hopeful that the surgery can still move forward.

I thought I was doing that, but I was going to make the note on my phone. I should have jotted it down on paper before I went looking for the darn thing.

@MarshaMusselman I had recycling on my list today, the bin was on the back seat. I told Hubby we needed to stop there. We stopped to look at a motorbike and then carried on out of town, home! Both forgot about a minute after talking about it!

Hernias hurt. I had a friend who had one really badly.
I am glad you found the phone that is a nuisance to lose it.

I'm glad I didn't have to drive back to my chiropractor's to retrieve it and that's because they are working on the bridge over a river and traffic can be worse just to drive for those reasons. Although, had I left it there, I'd make the trip.
If this is a hernia, it only hurts like a charlie horse will when it pops from under it's hiding place under my ribs to where I can feel it. It's not awful unless I'm in a crunched position and that I try not to get into when I can help it. If it is a hernia, I don't think any major organs are getting compromised otherwise, I think it would hurt a lot more than it does.
My chiropractor said his wife had similar cramping and it was discovered after doing several tests that her stomach must not be emptying as fast as it does for most people. Once she began taking probiotics her symptoms stopped. I've been trying to eat more raw veggies, so that shouldn't be the issue I have, but it does tend to be more bothersome after I've had a few meals. But, that may be due to where it's located more than anything since so many things are almost one on top of the other.

I hate when ideas disappear. I'm glad you found your phone in your car and had a good visit with your mother. It's been a while since I've been to a chiropractor. I'm glad you were able to get into yours right away.
